Questions

The questions parents ask

Short answers, in plain words. If yours is not here, write to [email protected] and a person answers.

Making things

How long does a creation take?

Usually one to three minutes. You see an honest estimate and a checklist of what is being made, and you can leave the app — Dinomy sends a notification when it is ready. Nothing is ever charged twice for the same creation.

Where does a story go before my child sees it?

Into your review area. New stories wait there for you by default: read it, approve it, regenerate it, or add it to a plan like Bedtime or Car Ride. Your child only ever sees what you queued.

Which languages does Dinomy make things in?

English, for now.

Which iPhones does Dinomy work on?

iPhone running iOS 26 or later. iPhone only for now.

Your character

Can I change a character later?

Yes. You can edit a character or delete it whenever you like, and it never rewrites anything you already made — every song, story and lesson keeps the character exactly as it was on the day it was created.

Child mode

Does my child need an account?

No. Children never have accounts, never sign in and never type. You give a first name and an age band, and that is all. Child mode is a locked room: big wordless tiles, no suggestions, no autoplay, no links, and a grown-ups-only gate on the way back.

Safety

Do you draw my child?

Never. The character your family made is the visual star, and your child appears by name. We never ask for a photo of a child, and a photo of a toy or drawing is used for one generation and then deleted.

Is anything shared between families?

Nothing. Your characters, songs, stories, lessons and your child’s progress belong to your account alone. There is no feed, no gallery, no comments and no way for another family to see anything you made.

Plans & credits

Can two parents share one subscription?

Yes. One subscription covers two grown-ups and every child in the family, and everyone shares the same credit balance. Each child gets their own profile and their own progress.

What happens if a creation fails?

You are never charged for it. If something goes wrong on our side the credits come back, and retrying an animation is free.

Do credits roll over?

Monthly credits reset each billing period and do not roll over; yearly plans receive theirs every 30 days rather than all at once. Top-ups (50 or 120 credits) are spent after your monthly credits and never expire.

Can I cancel?

Any time, in the App Store: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. The 7-day free trial can be cancelled the same way before it ends, and everything you already made stays in your library.
